It has blistered. Any time I move my hand it hurts like its burning again. Not sure how to sleep.
Have tank wallpaper.

Hi fella. First off what sort of pain is it? Is it a sharp pain when you move it or a dull pain that increases when you move it?
a) If it's the first try and immobilise it by wrapping a non adherent dressing with a lotion on such as savlon or an anti septic with a local anaesthetic in and then gently tape it up. The lotion will draw any warmth away from the area whilst also lubricating it from any chaffing from the dressing.
b) If however it is the second then you may want to cool the area down again by running cool water over the burn. If you have as above an anti septic with local anaesthetic all the better but a cutting from an aloe vera plant will do also, once cooled follow step A.
You should get a decent nights sleep but remember to remove the dressing in the morning and let the air at it to breath and repair naturally. If it has blistered use a blister cream and try not to damage the blister (ie burst it) and don't be tempted to just 'pop' it with a needle and dress it unless you know what your doing and you've had a tetanus jab in the last couple of years.
I've 'popped' blisters in the past but I have antiseptic wipes and antimicrobial washes along with sterile equipment and even then it's a last resort. But I also keep topical gels and burn dressing to hand.
What I've wrote may sound too much but without seeing the wound and asking further questions I always er on the side of caution.

I know that pain. A few years ago I got 2nd degree burns going the length of my middle and ring finger during a cooking accident. The Blister was HUGE and it hurt like hell. Im glad the ER docs gave me Vicoden, that was the only time that I took Vicoden where I actually wanted to take it. I hate Vicoden usually. And do what Svend said along with gauze wrapping and neosporin. Remember to change the bandages every 4-6 hours. I did that and I have absolutely no scarring.

Er, no.
You want to deal with something your way fine but if someone says they are in pain for whatever reason I will do and offer the best help I can.
I didn't do nine years as a medic by saying 'hey suck it up' no matter what it was.

Don't take it personally. No disrespect to the years of service you did.. and it was less in reply to you as it was to the the OP. Sucking it up is not a bad way to handle things that not much can be done about. Broken ribs, broken toes, small burns etc., sometimes you can't do anything but "suck it up". I guess I'm also adjusting to an off-topic area where something like that necessitates it's own post, which may have something to do with my bluntness.

Lol. No worries. I've just finished a night shift and 'Suck it up' pi55es me right off, as a guy I know says it to his four year old son who has fell over and crying and just wants someone to tell him it's fine when he himself takes two ruddy weeks off work because he has 'maybe a cold'. He does Tae Kwon Do as is a total prick to the highest order and those three words have become a red flag to me.
I mean who the hell says it to their own four year old child?
